About me

IRace and Rally World began as a motorsport blog, spotlighting the excitement of club and national events. Over time, we expanded into motorsport sponsorship and photography, capturing the passion and people behind the scenes. This naturally led us to explore the world of collectible models—a new avenue fuelled by our love of the sport.
Like many, our momentum was halted by the Covid pandemic. As life slowly returned to normal, Iain McKechnie stepped into the role of family carer for his wonderful Mum, who sadly passed away in late 2024.
This year has brought its own challenges, including a major overhaul of our website. While the online store is currently on pause, we're active through two dedicated eBay shops. A fresh addition this year is a celebration of car and motorsport memories—featuring photos and stories from the many events Iain has attended over the years.
